A few thoughts about unfortunate people addicted to gypsy gadgets

This whole circus around shame, which cannot live without "brand" things and, moreover, cannot help but shine with them all over Ivankivska, exists because they have a fierce inferiority complex. A person who is confident in himself does not need to prove anything to anyone. Neither verbally nor visually (by demonstrative behavior). And the worst thing is that they do not realize this and sincerely think that someone is jealous of them.

Therefore, in addition to the fact that there is a lack of brains to realize that all those trinkets can be earned legally, albeit with considerable effort - all this is simultaneously accompanied by a constant inner feeling of one's own worthlessness. Such worthlessness that if you do not show all these fetishistic attributes, or do not talk to someone - you will begin to doubt your own right to exist.

History and popular culture have a lot of examples when a person gained love and fame among the masses solely through his charisma. Pierre Richard is not the most handsome man, to put it mildly. Pablo Picasso was almost 150 cm tall, but he was loved and wanted by a lot of women. Kevin Costner spent 2/3 of his career with a shaggy hairstyle, and he also does not look like a brutal alpha male. Bette Davis was far from beauty standards, especially Hollywood ones, but this did not prevent her from getting married 4 times and having a bunch of novels at the same time, plus 10 Oscar nominations.

Did the same inferiority complex lead them to fame? What made them cultivate talent and develop character and charisma like that? Who knows. This is an open question. But the fact is that none of them tried to prove anything to anyone and did not expect anything from anyone.

If you ever, somehow, sometimes doubt yourself, I give you a powerful mantra. This mantra is the words of a song by Pablo Picasso from The Modern Lovers:

… some people try to pick up girls And they get called an asshole This never happened to Pablo Picasso

And I recommend to you and yourself not to be afraid to cringe. And not to expect approval from people. Regardless of the situation
